Hi
Baytril dosage for most reptiles is aprox 10mg per kilogram or 5mg per pound. Most bottles of injectable baytril contain a concentration of 22.27mg per ml(milliliter or CC) but check the label as some are in higher concentrations.
The thing about Bartril is it is very irritating and painful to the tissue of the patient and can actuallly cause some tissue death if given in the same area repeatedly. Give 1 injection daily for 10 days alternating front legs. Try to get some saline or lactated ringers solution (LRS) from your vet to dilute the injection (50-50) to minimize the irritation and pain.
The injectable baytril works just as well given oraly if you can get your animal to open his mouth without much stress. I prefer this method with most reptiles but it is very hard with some turtles/torts.
I was an emergency vet tech for 12 years and specilized in exotic medicine. If you want to email me with your animals weight, I'll figure a dosage for you. Make sure you give lots of fluids during treatment or feed fruit to get his hydration up.
Good luck
