Tortoise Sex

I've had these 3 small tortoises in my small courtyard for nearly 20 years. I bought them but don't know what type of tortoise they are but they're about 4 or 5 inches wide. I don't know their sexes but at least two are of different genders. That's obvious. Never have I seen eggs or baby tortoises though I've seen a lot of "activity." I'm curious about their mating rituals and reproduction. Can anyone give me some basic information?
