: Hi. I have an african spurr-thighed tortoise that I've had since I was 15. I'll be going off to college soon, and I don't think it'd be fair to her if I force her to live with me in a New York apartment, where she'd be cooped up in a little cage and never get to be outside.I'm thinking I need to give her away to someone who'd take better care of her.How should I go about doing this? I want to make sure this future owner is competant.
