I'm in the same dilemma. Here's the solution that I have come up w/ based on the inside track given to us by a Petco employee on a previous post. They can reorder until the end of March at their cheap price of around $30. For me this means that I shouldn't buy one until at least March so that they won't replace it with another. Second, if they don't sell, maybe the price will drop even further (my store went from $219 to $79 already). The lower the price people buy at, the less likely a reorder. I know it's hard to not rescue a few individuals, but for the sake of the whole, I'm going to wait it out until March or a price reduction.
