I think that tail size thing is an iffy way to sex the tort, as is the shape of the two end scales. (what are those babies called? Anal scutes?) Wouldn't you think since Tofu and Teddy are approx. the same size, if you take into account the different ways we measure, that Tofu's plastron would look like Teddy's? Sheesh, all this just to figure out the gender of a tortoise. I really need a hobby....
