Petco leopards & a moral question

I found another Petco near my house that has 5, 10" leopards that all appear to be in good health. I was allowed to handle them with a caring lady who was the store manager. I found no runny noses, no ticks, no sunken eyes, no open mouth breathing, and all felt fairly heavy.
My only concern was that they did not have enough room or hiding spots. I need another opinion on what I'm considering. I have the room, and the money to take in 2 of these poor creatures. Like I said, they appear to be in good health but I'm sure they'd have to be dewormed...etc. I'm not vet, but I can take care of the minor problems that might incur.
Should I take these animals in even though they are wild caught? My main concern is to make sure they have a good home with a capable owner. The care sheet says they can live in a 20 gallon long (yeah right), and eat "fruits & veggies" (to an extent). I'm worried that someone will buy one of these handsome creatures as an impulse buy and they end up dead by summer.
I need an angel on my shoulder to help me out here guys.... please email or post. I don't care which. ...... Thanks
