I agree with Ed. I get Mazuri in 20 pound bags for
$13, I'm on my second one this year, I feed 1-2 cups
every other day to my Sulcata. Trying to feed a
sulcata (or sulcatas) on grocery greens and indoor
grown grasses, is expensive and often unrealistic
especially when they start getting some size on
them. I agree with Marissa and Terry also, add a
larger variety of greens there are tons of greens
they like, collards (best for calcium), mustard
greens, turnip greens, I feed mine whole zuchinni and
yellow squashes, occasionally a cucumber, green
peppers. Teddy also adores white Pansy flowers
and recently started eating Hibiscus flowers.
Best lettuce types - endive/chickory and escarole.
I try to avoid romaine as it's the "worst" of the
lettuces except of course iceberg. Sometimes I'll
add a bunch of spinach or Cilantro, just for variety.
Ted has a yardfull of weeds in the summer.
