RUNNY NOSE SYNDROME IN MEDITERRANEAN TORTOISES

Recurrant re-infection within a group of Customs confiscated graecae (Morroccans) I used the usual general antibiotics as
recomended but without long term success . Symptoms returned after 4-5 weeks . As an experiment tried using Tea Tree oil (
an essential oil with anti-bacterial and anti viral properties) as an inhalant. Two or three drops of essential oil on a damp towel
under the basking lamp replaced daily for 2 weeks then for one day per week for 6 months . No reccurrance within the group
some 6 months on .
Anyone else with ongoing R.N.S.? Maybe you could try it and let me know the results.
