on the outside 2 deep, maybe we'll do 3 layers and
then the thickness of the wood and the fence,
aside from the fact that he can't actually "see"
out when he's at the wood. I've read that
sulcatas generally dig one way holes, not using
them as a tunnel, but I've seen King Karl (Giovanni's)
big tort do that, though he could see the other
side that was his destination.
We could use cinder blocks dug under the ground
too, we'll see if there's a problem developing, it
hasn't been so far, though with sulcatas there's
always adjustments.
