I got him this hibiscus bush (red flowering), it's
blossoming like crazy. Though mine die in the
winter, I don't mess with putting them anywhere,
cause they're easy to just get new ones in the
spring. The other one is supposed to be a
hibiscus - tall one in the center with no
flowers, that comes back each year, so we'll see.
I've also planted 2 weeping Mulberry bushes in
his pen that are supposed to get big fast, I got
them from the place below. I've got a third one,
a Geraldi Mulberry on back order coming in May.
Total for the three Mulberry bushes was $78
included shipping. Otherwise he's got three
Geraniums in tehre too, one of which he ate and
the other two he ignores - I think he remembered
that he didn't really like Geraniums cause he
never ate those much before. He will also not
eat the hibiscus flowers (weird huh?) but will
eat some of the leaves occasionally. He ate the
Mulberry bushes leaves I hand fed him, but ignores
them planted in his pen. Anyway, tell me what you're
planting? What else? Mine's for decoration and
shade, I don't expect my plants to feed him.

I need to get someone to help me measure him, I'll
try to get some accurate measurements of him, usually
I just weigh him. He was 18 pounds yesterday. Teddy
will be three years old on July 4th this year, I
believe that Giovanni (He has a huge beautiful tort
named King Karl) has another sulcata that is exactly
the same age as Teddy - same birthday!
If Tofu came to visit, those two would be a wrecking
pair huh?! LOL! I'll admit, he looks tiny to me
too! One day he will be giant and people won't look
at me like "yeah right" when I say I've got the
third largest tortoise in the world. I'm getting
less of the "is that a box turtle" questions though.
