I'm curious, what credentials do you have to make you an "expert." Something more than, I own some, I hope. Also, what was stressful for your tort, may not be for Teddy because he's used to it, much like a puppy should get used to car rides, a tortoise can also get used to the car. Tofu doesn't go for many rides, but it never seems to bother her when she does have to go. It's a matter of conditioning. (Tofu rides in a large tub. She has a tendency to injure her leg scales on wire)
If you read this forum regularly, you will have read the discussion we had regarding different types of tortoise husbandry. Isn't it important to respect other people and their ideas too? Although I don't agree with everything everyone on this forum does (and vice versa, I'm sure), I don't think that gives me the right to slam anyone who does things differently. Unlike some, I'm not so entrenched in the belief that my way is the ONLY way.
