How much are x-rays to prove/disprove a gravid female tort??

I have some pancake tortoises that I think are gravid. I base this guess on a huge weight increase after I had introduced a new male who was observed many times, mating with all three of my females. To confirm my own suspicions and satisfy my curiosity, I want to have the females x-rayed and/or ultasounded to confirm or deny the presence of eggs. I was wondering if anyone has had any experince with this and how much I should be prepared to spend on x-rays and or ultrasound and if the x-rays would have any adverse affect due to the procedure. I wouldn't want to spend any more than $30-$40 dollars, and I figure the x-ray could get all 3 pancakes in one shot anyway. I would appreciate any input on this.
