Tough one, but you get what you pay for! The money you save on purchase price you would have to use to take it to a Rep vet immediately! Where do you live? Yes, it would stand a chance at a better life with you. IMHO I would buy it myself to save a living things life!!! My story was opposite. I was WAY overcharged for my Sulcata from what everyone tells me here, but it was a gift from hubbie and love at first sight. What about the Petco people here, what is your stores policy for reordering them..are they a one time thing? Ask you managers and let us know, PLEASE!! They can't be making much money on them at $79. Sounds like they are just trying to get rid of them now if they marked them down from $219. This is tough and really pulls at the heart strings.
: I hope I'm not beating the subject to death, but I need advice/opinions. I was worried when my Petco got their huge shipment of WC leopard torts. I thought that since they were selling them for $219 the people who got them would be more willing to "protect their investment" and take them to the vet and care for them properly. I have been wanting a Leopard but am not sure if I live in a warm/dry enough area for long term. I've been avoiding Petco so I wouldn't be tempted, but one of my friends mentioned that none have sold and now the price has changed to $75. What can/should I do?
