That is so sad,there is so much info avalable if people are interested in learning the proper care of pets.
It's really inexcusable.
Shows that they had no concern at all.

Brings to mind a post at the turtle forum.
A young girl collecting wild sliders, from a local lake.
Brnging them home and forgeting about them.
One of them died when it was left outside in a pan of sallow water.
The water evaporated and the turtle fried to death in the heat.
