Other people's yards. If you go to your neighbor, and offer to take up any dandelions in his yard by the roots, not only will your neighbor be very happy that you are weeding his/her yard, but your tortoise will have a healthy snack! You can buy dandelion greens at grocery stores, but it is painful to pay gourmet prices for what is a pesky common suburban weed.
