thanks! How big can he be before that cage is too small? I'm going to get a big wading pool for his outdoor home. I got the idea off a website, you take to kiddie pools, cut the bottom out of one and attatch them together to make it higher. i'm not good at explaining things, but here's the link if anyone is interested!

Great idea for someone with a smaller tortoise and doesn't want to spend a ton of money!
: Ideal humidity for redfoots is between 70%-90% but my redfoot cage is usually more like 65% and hes always been fine. the cage sounds fine. they get pretty big. around 12-16 inches as adults, but they dont grow all that fast. mine is two years old and he's five and a half inches. the temps sound good too. almost all baby redfoots for sale are CB, and subadults and adults are usually WC. a baby redfoot is very hardy. i got mine when he was 2 inches and he's never had any problems at all.
