redfoot questions

Ok, I am planning on buying a Red Foot at the reptile show on the 27th. I have an out door pen he can go in for a few hours each day when i can supervise but it won't be living outside (i have a bear who has been visitng my yard almost every day and i don't trust any enclosure to a bear!) My cage that i have now is about 2 feet by 4 feet and about a foot high. it's wooden and has a glass front that slides open (i usually leave it open a bit for extra ventalation and then the top is wooden but is hinged in 2 places so i can put the front and back of the top open. Just where the lights are built into it is solid. Will this be suitable for a baby? How big do they get exactly? All the sites i've been to says 'medium size tortoise' but doesn't give me the info i need to plan ahead! What substrate would be best. From what i read, they like humid woodland conditions, and from what i heard, that reptile bark/mulch holds moisture well. would the bark be good? Anything better? I read to feed it collards, dandelion, watercress, squash, carrots, papaya, kiwi, hibiscus, and pumpkin. Is this good? Do redfoots have any certain characteristics i should look for in a healthy baby? or just the normal stuff you look for in all torts (clear nose and eyes, no dried up crap on it, strong limbs that resist gentle pulling, no noise when breathing, etc...) For the temp, is 75 on cool end and 88 or so on warm end good? night temps of around 60? How often should the cage be misted? Are most redfoots CB or WC? Are hatchlings fairly hardy? Or should i go for a sub-adult? Please let me know if anything i said is wrong, i don't want any chances! Also if i left anything out, let me know! THANKS!!! oh, what price should i expect for a reptile show? thanks!
