the vet can sell it to you without a visit, apparently it's not a prescription only drug. Just ask for the concentration and dosage amounts for your turtle (you could provide the vet with it's weight and they could calculate it). It was about 20 bucks for us to buy a bottle that was the first round of treatment for 10 adult box turtles.
