I am sory if i avised something that was not right. i did not mean a magnum filter, just a liitle internal one to keep the water moving, i hate to see animals in stagnent water. and i ment to keep him out side until he can be sure he is not carrying some bad germs to pass to his other animals. then if he makes it, then move him into a cage, that is proper for him. I did not take into account the water temp because here in my state, that would not be a prob!! sorry!! like i said i dont have a res but what i did know i tried to help. we have built covers for our cages outside during the summer to keep the owls and coons away , we just put padlocks on the wood and screen tops.
