Yes...I do enjoy hanging out with and watching them. I think there is something very soothing or peacful or Zen about sulcatas... I just know that when I need to have a calm peacful moment...I can almost always find it with my torts. ...And they often make me laugh.

: Tofu is about 25 lbs now and getting difficult to weigh...or to do anything she doesn't want to do. We've had her for five years now and have always enjoyed her antics. Don't you just love to sit and watch them?

: : : I recently broke down and joined message forums just to talk to others with the same interest, in this case, tortoises. My family is tired of talking tortoise with me, so I'm out for fresh ears. We own a 5.5 yr old sulcata named Tofu (and many other pets too). She is getting so big that we just built a roomier indoor area for her, and have converted the dog run into an outdoor area just for her. She is such a hoot. It's amazing how much personality tortoises have, isn't it?
