The flagyl was spread very, very lightly. The usual dose of this drug is 25-60 mg/kg. There is no way that any of the tortoises could get more than perhaps 5 mg. I know about the possible problems-- but in this case, without being able to take a stool sample in-- I thought the potential benefits outweighed the possible problems.
