I wish I'd got the tablets for Bubba, at over 20lbs I'm not looking forward to giving him the shots. I give him one tomorrow, first time I'll be givng one of my bigger torts a shot.
Hoku just got his shot, three more to go :(
Esther, Big Ben I'm sure is fine he was rehomed, in Hawaii.
Bubba is also going to a great new home this month or next.
They're driving from Texas to Arizona to pick him up.
Angel is exactly that, an Angel. No digging, no problem at all.
She goes to bed by herself at night, same time, same place, every night.Gentle, sweet and being a female she wont be too much to handle when fully grown.
She doesn't overgraze and is a wonderful tort, close to 60lbs now.
Bubba needs more room than I can provide here in AZ. He constantly paces, grazes non stop and although still small at 15". He sleeps in the oddest places and has to be picked up and placed in the shed, every evening.
That's how he got his cold, he chooses the draftiest places to sleep.
If I had more room I'd keep him, but to be fair to him he's going to a new home.
I interviewed a few people, but this home in Texas was the best.
Plenty of room, a heated greenhouse, huge enclosure planted with native grasses ,weeds etc.Vet on hand, and two more sulcatas to buddy
up to. But he wont be used for breeding, his new keeper like me belives there are enough hatchlings being produced without adding to the problem.
