Help With Volunteer Work

Hey everyone, I am going to be volunteering at Roger Williams Zoo this summer. I am planning on becoming a zookeeper when I graduate and need to gain all the experience I can. The problem is that I live in Connecticut and Roger Williams is located in Rhode Island. The commute would be 2 and 1/2 hours each way. Ouch! Anyways the intern program is something like 4 days a week and I am trying to find a place to stay over night while I am there. Does anyone live or know anyone who lives somewhere by the Zoo or in Rhode Island in general. I am willing to take any ideas or help I can get (even a backyard to put a tent up in). I can of course come and meet anyone willing to help me before they agree to anything. Please Email me or post here if you have anything at all for me. Thanks you guys so much.
