Doubtful, since there is likely not a demand to generate research money and I'm pretty sure it would cost a pretty penny to do the gene work on them. Although, in another 10 years it will likely be "cheap and routine" work.

The Jacksonville Reptile Expo is this weekend. It's not the greatest show on earth, but a pretty large number of "BIG" names were there last year and the quality of the animals was decent, although a bit early for the bulk of the breeding season. So, I would say, make a trip of it! It can't be too far unless you are in a remote location of NC. I'm driving 200 miles to go up, but I already live in Florida, so I guess that's not a big deal. :)
