Well ….. We didn’t like the tub and we didn’t like the glass tank. We took some advice and went to Home Depot. I drew something up and we went there and got exactly what we wanted for a cheap price. The wood, plexi glass, screws, and light fixture cost 37 bucks! It was funny because the guy who cut our wood has a turtle. He was saying how he needed a bigger tank. So I offered him mine for cheap. He is coming over tomorrow to pick it up. It was nice because he knocked 10 bucks off of the price of the wood. He also cut the wood and the plexi glass for free. Jasmine’s new wood home is 40 inches long 22 inches wide and 8 inches high. We have plexi glass on the front. We have a board on the back which makes the heat light go up to 14 inches from her shell. The temperature is perfect now. She has a basking area of 93 and a cool area that is 75. We kind of put wood borders around the inside and the top of the cage. We made it so we could use the screen on our old tank for a top. Just wanted to thank everyone.
