I started out with the glass also. Theres just not enough floor and too much wall. My sulcata is now 2 yrs old and about 4 inces long. I found a fifty gallon rubbermaid tub made of some type of plastic or composite material. I dont remember how much it cost, but probably in the $50 to $75 range. It is oval in shape and probably 3 1/2 ft long,2 1/2 ft wide, and only about 12 inces high.Its definetly not as pretty as a glass tank, but I believe provides a much better habitat for my tort. I also put a few inces deep of substrate so he can dig and burrow some. Hope I helped.........Keith
