Well Kathy, it's decision time. I think the setup you have is perfect. The constant 80 is what you want. The tank also allows you to control the temperature better and keep it constant. The towel is perfect. It too stabilizes the temperature. Think of it as a little infirmary. Now when he is up and running Terrys idea is the way to go.
On the feeding, try opening his mouth and placing a tiny bit in and see if he eats on his own. Otherwise, just keep up with the soakings and hope. Post if he passes urates.
