Shell rot

I was just wondering what are the sings of shell rot
Tully my Russian tort is stubborn, and I know that water
can give them shell rot but the only way she will drink it
is if she is wading in it. I change her water about 4 times
a day. and I have just Knottiest that her shell on
one side has became smooth ans shinny and the cracks
in her shell have become a dark color. Also the edge of
her shell looks as it is being peeled off laier by laier
Is this a sign of shell rot or is she just growing?
