Redfoots are not inclined to pyramiding in the wild. Normal growth is smooth. If you get it right the new growth should be relatively smooth. Because it is small, eventually you will not notice the pyramiding if smooth growth comes in but the old growth will never change. My suggestion?, Heat and hydration. I've got 3 I'm raising and they seem to be growing pretty well. I'll post pictures in a year and we'll see if I've got it.
