REDFOOTS DONT EAT SALAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have 3 redfoots and i cant get them to eat any green leaves ?,all they eat is pinapple, dried food ,and pretty pets large tort food plus all the usual fruits ,i dont have a problem with that but when i see people telling me that theire torts eat leaves and mine dont kinda strange dont you think .I even went one week without feeding them and put leaves ,cos ,and romaine and dandy lions down and still no joy ,is this ok when i put fruit down they all but attacked me lol ,(english joke ) but honestly any ideas out there .since I have had them they all have put on a huge ammount of weight ,i think that the breeder or trader that i got them from was a jerk and was only interested in selling them for money so i kinda rescued them i guess , i hope so any way but living in england is a problem with the weather so all are so warm and humid that i cant dare to see my electric bill haaaaaa ,(dont tell the wife )redfoots cant be cited in a divorce case can they ??
So any help in getting them to eat greens and leaves would be a big help
