: I know this is a bad pic. This is Pebbles, I got her from someone who bought her for his 8 yr old son. The son was the sole caretaker for her. She was kept with no heat, no water, no basking light or UVB in a 20 gallon tank. She was fed canned veggies when the son remembered. She is 5 yrs old in this pic. This was the day I got her. She weighted in at 525 grams! I kept her for 9 months and she tripled in size with good food, light and heat. Just wanted to share a pic of what will happen to those cute little torts you see in pet stores if you don't take care of them properly (and if they live) She now has a healthy happy home and does educational shoes for adults and kids.
