this deals with multiple factors of increasing the risk. Animals of unknown origin, different species and more. No one is arguing that you shouldn't mix species. The key word is 'shouldn't' not can't.
Now if you take the number of keepers that do mix species (and admit it) and compare it to the number of species that are lost because of that and come up with a significant number it would make your point that much stronger. I'd be willing to bet the number would not be significant (from an objective source, of course)
