The only way to check if she has stones is xray or radiograph. If she is passing urates there is a much less chance she has stones. On the carrots would suggest no more than 1/4 to 1/2 a teaspon a day mixed, of course, with other greens. You might even want to cut them out and see what happens to the urates. If you even slightly suspect dehydration, I'd suggest daily soakings. This'll also give you a chance to monitor urate output. Again keep the guy/gal on the warm side. (80 - 100F).
