: How does a a sulcata attack what stories have you heard?
We have two males, one twice the age and size of the other. 45 and 20+ lbs, approx. 12+ and 6 yrs old. The smaller, Buster, we've had since he was a little bitty. The other, Tonka, we have had nearly two years. Tonka "attacks" in a way. When ever anyone enters his area he walks/runs over to them. He approaches, sniffs and then rams into whose ever ankle it is. Everyone is warned about what he does. Usually he'll do it once or twice and then walks away or just hangs around. We believe it is a territorial thing for him, just letting everyone know who the boss is. We have thought that maybe it has to do with the fact that he has had several homes and coming to this one where there was already another tort. We get a good laugh and so does the gardener when he chases after him pushing the mower and never succeeds in hitting the target. Gives him great exercise though. Tonka also rams soccer, beach and volley balls. He also helps clean out his house by pushing the dogloo around while we hose it out. The smaller one is not an "attacker", has never rammed anyone. Neither of them have ever bit anyone. They will ram each other and violently, therefore they are never put together.
