I agree with Niki. Stay away from abrasives such as concrete. The PH (acidity level) of concrete is very bad for your tort. I suggest you make a pen and allow your tort to do whatever it wants inside the pen. This is part of the joys of keeping a tort, watching the tort do it's thing. There is always something to be learned. You may be surprised. It is alsa great way to show your children the ways of animals. They will grow with a better respect and appreciation for wildlife if the torts are allowed to "just be torts".
