When I purchased a russian from Petco (yes, I got it from Petco!) they asked me to sign a 15 day warranty. I'm not sure 'cause it was some time ago, but I think they would replace it if it died or became ill. I don't remember, but I'm pretty sure it didn't over any vet visits. It would be cheaper for them to replace the tort. By the way he turned out to be quite a healthy, happy little guy. He's just Mr. Personality! Just worm yours.

: I'm getting ready to purchase a CB Russian Tortoise from a local pet store that specializes in reptiles. My question is, what kind of warranty should I expect to get? I plan to take the tort to a vet soon after I get one, but if he's sick, should I have any recourse? Is there a standard out there?
