I don't know about actually training, but our 2 year old male G. Sulcata roams the basement of our home during the winter months and he seems to prefer the spot directly under his heat and full spectrum lamps to defacate. This is not the only place he goes, but he does have about a 90% success rate. We sweep it out every day to keep things clean and to encourage him to keep up the good work. He hasn't hit the carpet once yet!
