Thanks for the info. Right now my fridge is 37.5 degrees. Pretty safe I guess. I'm using crumbled newspaper and bark as a substrate for him to bury into.

I've cut off food to the little guy... he is NOT happy about that. I swear, it could be 40 degrees in this room, and he would still try to eat my toes. How cool should the ambient temp in his cage be anyway? Right now it is around 70 degrees (I can't get the room temp much lower without pissing off my parents). I'm also giving him a bath every 3 days to clear out his gut and get him nice and hydrated.
