Nick: I would get your tortoise off of injectable Baytril immediately! Baytril can kill tortoises. Yours might not be sensitive, but why take the risk. I have successfully treated URI in tortoises using a combination of Amikacin .25 ml/kg injected subcu every 3 days, max of three treatments in addition to a drop or two of Baytril dripped into the nares every day. Another antibiotic that I've used successfully is Clafrin. This is all advice which came to me through very knowledgeable veterinarians.
