: 2 days ago, my honeybee died. The x-rays the vet took last week showed that she had severe gout, the vet also said that it was so bad that she was probably born with it due to genetics and bad breeding or from poor care in the first few weeks. Since i got her at 3 months (i had her for 6 months), he said it wasnt my fault, if anything, i did everything right since it didn't effect her emotionally and she didnt show signs until almost 9 months into it. He also said that even if we knew she had gout in the first dew days i had her, it would have gone basically the same because they rarely survive it, especially as hatchlings. I heard that even a person that has gout rarely lives if it's severe. I'm going to miss her a lot, i still havent gotten around to taking down her enclosure, i like it there.
I am sorry to hear this, may god bless honeybee. She's in a better place now thanking you for the short time she spent with you. Can you tell me what gout is?
