I am hardly an expert, but I think you will run into a problem trying to provide the right humdity. Plus, redfoots grow 1.5-2 inches a year, which means that you will hardly notice a growth change in two week period. Maybe if it was measured every 2 months, it would gain like a quarter inch or so.....
: Hello
: I help my mom out with keeping a class reptile pet in her class of grade 5's. We've done a few types of lizards which have gone fairly well.
: Would a young redfoot work out? It will only be handled by myself when as a class we measure it every week or 2. It won't be passed around, but rather kept in a suitable terrarium.
: I'm concerned about the sound more than anything like these kids kept basilisks which stress horribly and the bassies did great.
: Would this be too much of a risk in your experienced opinion?
: Thanks
