Aquatic turtles eat them, box turtles eat them and even semiaquatic turtles eat them but tortoises such as sulcata should never be given them even as a snack. I am glad you asked too :)

: I wasn't thinking of these as regular food just as an occasional snack. I've heard of people feeding their turtles other kinds of worms like mealworms and wax worms. Though if this kind of snack can cause them damage I can still put the earthworms to good use: into my garden they go:)I'm glad I asked before I fed them any!
