Well.......depends on the temperature and humidity level...since tortoises do not have a diaphragm and don't "automatically" breathe like a mammal does...sometimes to us it looks strange...little legs moving, sometimes neck movements, etc. All of this is the tortoise doing what it needs to in order to take in and expell air from the lungs manually.

Yawning is OK...and normal (must be tired from that long trip! :-)

Sounds like he is adjusting just fine, eating well, etc. Be sure not to overfeed him...and do make sure he always has water to wade in.
