I agree with everything Marissa says and would offer this additional suggestion. You might consider adding Purina Pride 100 horse chow to you tortoise's diet. This product has only 7% protein and is a complete diet for grazers. My 4 year old redfoot will eat the pellets whole, I mix the pellets into my "salad blend" for my larger tortoises. I powder some and add it to the greens for smaller tortoises, I do this for the larger tortoise occasionally just to make sure they are eating some.
