i soak her pellets and alafalfa for about 15 minutes before feeding her. the only things i didnt soak were things that had moisture already. i had one corner that was about 5 inches deep that she dug in all the time. she also had small hide boxes that she could go into (and did) that would touch her sides. i also had large hide boxes.
