Hello everyone, I have a Russian and I am wondering if anything could happen to it if you: buy a toroise and dont get it de-wormed,(like I did)and he goes in to hybernation and wakes up after hybernation and needs to be de-wormed, could he get an infection or anything bad from not deworming him. The site I ordered him from,(carolina tortoises) said that after every hybernation you have to get him de-wormed. At the time we were going to get him done I couldnt find a vet that did exotics. I did not to long ago, so when he wakes up, he is going to. Get this, I called a place near where I live and when I asked if they did "Russian Land Tortoises" the women said, "Is that a cat?" Well anyway, I would appreciate any help I would get. Thanks.
