I don't live in a house with an unheated room, the outdoor temps are too unpredictable, & my refrigerator stays at a constant 40 degrees. From everything I've read on the subject of hibernation, this seemed like a perfectly logical thing to do.

Please, by all means, correct me if I'm wrong. They've only been in there since Tuesday night & I checked on them today. They've moved around a bit, but seemed to be as fine a 40 degree tortoise could.
