Hello,
I'd say $80 is a pretty good price. I'd only be concerned with dealing with Petco. From what I've seen in Dallas, they tend to treat their tortoises very poorly. I recommend visting reputable breeders online. Richard Fife has some beautiful animals (link below) and he knows what he's doing. Granted, the cost is a little higher, but with a breeder you're dealing with the person who hatched that animal and cares more about it than someone who calls their animals "merchandise".
