toss down a throw rug or a cane mat that won't slip
around and you've got a good deal. He's right
about cold floors, but if it's tropical that
is probably not a big deal. I would still try to
set up a warm light over one corner of the room though
for him to have a range of temps to choose from.
Luck,
Nate
: Ray,
: Tile tends to be cold and can cause problems in males. Young tortoises need traction so their legs develop correctly but supervised for short periods I see no problem. Enjoy your new pet!
: : Hi! Just got a Leopard Torroise and am very excited about it. I live in the Philippines which has a tropical environment. Generaly in the mornings, I have someone take him out to the garden, and in the afternoons, I let him walk around a room with a tiled floor. Is that ok?
