: Hi,

: I've been wondering if I should separate my two T. Ibera tortoises. One has grown, while the other has shown hardly any growth at all. Should I be concerned about this? They both seem healthy and active. They are both approximately one and a half years old. They are clutchmates and have lived in the same enclosure for their whole lives.

: Sincerely,
: Christina

Christina...we had that problem when our sulcatas were small. It took us a while but we found that the larger of the two was dominant, hogging the food. We made a point of separating them when they ate and things changed. IMHO if they started out the same size, as our did and one is now larger than the other, it is pigging out problem.
